God has a mysterious way of throwing us for a loop. I could chalk
it up to His ironic sense of humor, but I also know that these life changing
moments are much more profound than we would imagine. How does one even begin
to understand how deep and wide God’s love is for us? In my own life, these
moments cause me to step back and wonder, “What in the world is God doing?” Subsequently,
after some examination, I find myself settling on one important Truth: God’s
plans are always so much greater than I could have imagined.
Even still, I often continue to wrestle, pondering the possibilities
of what might be. I do often feel the overwhelming sense of peace that can only
come from the Father; and yet, my mind runs wild.
What’s next? How many more curve balls will be thrown at me?
I feel as though when He blesses us, it often comes in waves, overwhelming and tumultuous.
Though God is a God of order, I cannot seem to make sense of what he is doing.
Yet, it all falls perfectly into place, leaving behind a trail that all points
strait back to God’s handiwork. It is beautiful.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not
give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be
afraid.” John 14:27
